KW Strategems was founded after the principals decided to take the plunge and
pursue a dream of combining their consumer expertise, research background and
marketing savvy. With over thirty years of consumer research experience and a
shared heritage for blazing new trails, KW Strategems was born.
Sigal Kremer comes from a family of entrepreneurs. Growing up, she worked on
the family business before heading off to get a Marketing degree. Thriving on
variety, Sigal worked in licensing, marketing and sales before realizing consumer
research was the foundation of strategy and where it's at. A true consumer - she's
unable to resist the lure of a new product when spotted on the shelves at Target.
Melinda Wooten comes from a family of artists and engineers. She has a Mar-
keting degree, as well as a Masters in Consumer Research from the University of
Georgia. Never one to sit still, she's worked on both the client and supplier side of
the research business on everything from alcohol to finance to snack food, as well
as teaching a variety of Marketing courses at a University, moderating for ten
years and being a published fiction author. She's less likely to pick up a new
product the first time around - preferring to hear about it from Sigal.
